Peru is the land of the ancient Incas, an incredible civilization that knew how to dominate its rugged geography and live in harmony with the rivers, the sun, the rain, the sea and the Amazon, the mountains and the dry cold of the Andes, adapting to its surroundings and surviving thanks to the beneficial fruits of the Pachamama.

To reach Peru is to travel through time and to find the exciting life of the Incas, the Chancas, the Chachapoyas, the Mochicas and the Wari, as well as their great architectural works, their art, their festivals, the roots of their social strength and the energy of their men.

Departments of Peru
Peru is a very diverse country, with 11 ecoregions and 84 vital areas of the 117 that exist in the world. It has an enormous multiplicity of landscapes due to its geographical conditions, which in turn gives a great diversity of natural resources. In its territory can be identified three great regions according to their altitudes. This has been the traditional way of dividing it: north, center and south.

  • Norte: Amazonas, Cajamarca, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Loreto, Piura, San Martín, Tumbes.
  • Centro: Áncash, Callao, Huánuco, Junín, Lima, Pasco, Ucayali, Huancavelica.
  • Sur: Arequipa, Apurímac, Ayacucho, Cusco Ica, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Puno, Tacna.
